Admitting expat life is hard feels … ungrateful.  You’re “living the dream” after all.  People think you’re on permanent vacation.  Wouldn’t it be nice to sit down with someone who’s done it before, and learn from her experience?  Someone with answers to questions keeping you up at night.  Someone who listens, understands and doesn’t judge.

You've Come to the right place.

"I tend to think of things in large, vague, overwhelming clumps, so I valued Kim helping me define and break down my priorities into manageable pieces. I also am pretty hard on myself, so Kim helping me to celebrate small steps and successes really boosted my self confidence and self esteem."

"Where are you now" in your international life ...
and how could we flip it around?

Lonely

Hiding in my house, not exploring new places ...
I miss having friends.

Connected

I've made strong friendships and feel part of the community.

Homesick

Constantly checking email & Facebook ... and drinking wine to numb the separation.

Fulfilled

I have no regrets, and feel close no matter the distance.

Insecure

Am I messing up my kids? They don't know how to answer, "Where are you from?"

Confident

I know what helps - and act on it.

Perplexed

Fatigued, impatient, annoyed, and so hot! I'm ashamed of how I treat my loved ones sometimes. Could it be menopause?

Powerful

I'm real with myself and others, and know how to manage this new stage.

Stuck in my Career

I haven't found a job in this new place, and I don't know how to re-imagine this part of me.

Ready to Pivot

I see new possibilities, and have a roadmap for how to get there.

In Limbo

I don't know where (or even IF) I'll get a job next ... living in-between is soooo uncomfortable.

Focused

I'm living in the present, focused on what I can control.

Misunderstood

I'm back in my "home" country but don't fit in. Plus when I see my expat friends' posts I have FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).

Reconnected

I've created my sense of home again.

Stuck

I'm dissatisfied, but don't know how to change.

Relief

I know: What I'm going through is normal, and I can get where I want to be.

"In our coaching sessions we unblocked things that were holding me back and I actually experienced a break-through moment by facing and addressing a relationship related issue. This has had a really positive impact on my life in general and on my new career and entrepreneurship in particular. Through Renata’s coaching, I also gained further clarity and confidence in my new adventure as a Life Coach serving clients globally."

Now is the time: Invest in your Future

We don’t have to tell you: 2020 turned life as we know it upside down. Now more than ever, you’re looking for connection, smart strategies, and compassionate care. That’s exactly what adapt. succeed. together delivers. The strategies you learn will serve you right now… and in your next international move & location… and every one after that.

Questions smart people ask before handing over their hard earned cash

Decide which coach’s program matches your interests best. Click through to that individual’s website, where you’ll be directed through their signup process. (Generally this involves setting up a no-strings-attached video conversation to answer your questions, and if agreed, arrange payment.)

Coaches charge in different currencies, but all have priced this program at the equivalent of 1250 Euros

No. There will be 5 group coaching programs launching at the same time. You choose the one you wish to join.

Andrea – Repats
Anna – Parents of TCKs
Jane – Menopausal Women
Kim – International school Teachers & Families
Renata – Purpose & Career

All 5 groups will be together inside one popup Facebook group, where we’ll support each other’s energy & insights, and share resources & bonuses (so you’ll get a peek at what other groups are getting too).

The good news is we’ll be interacting inside the private Facebook group during the program, so you’ll get some access to all of us, including special insights from each one’s specialty, and the bonuses we all offer.

You’re more than welcome to reach out to as many facilitators as you need to make a good decision for you. We all have a slightly different focus and we’ll be happy to help you choose which one is the best fit for you.

No, because the group creates a connection once it starts that we don’t want interrupted by changes in members. But inside the common Facebook group you’ll have access to a summary of the discussion and materials used from all the other groups.

Groups will have a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 participants to keep them intimate and productive.

These are invaluable conversations to work through common sticking points and dive deeper into how each of the modules have impacted you. It’s not a repetition of the content, it’s a collective experience to help you digest the lessons and put them into practice in your life.

We believe having all participants present is an important premise to make the discussions richer and more valuable for everyone. The calls won’t be recorded as the goal is to create a safe space where people can share their experience without holding back.

We’ll work to arrange the call timings to suit everyone’s schedules. Of course life happens and if you miss a call because of an emergency we won’t kick you out ;). You’ll be able to catch a summary of the discussions in the Facebook Group.

It depends a bit on how much you want to invest and take advantage of the FB group and bonuses. At a minimum, plan on 90 minutes for the group call (every other week), and around 40 minutes in the alternating weeks for watching videos and self-reflection.

We’re working hard to break everything down into bite-sized pieces to make it easy for you to participate! We’ll offer group sessions at a variety of times so you can find one that’s convenient to your schedule. We’re confident that the group dynamic of shared insights and connections that may well turn into long term friendships will be worthwhile. Plus, you get lifetime access to the videos and guidebook, so you can always return to them when needed in the future.

All of us coaches have moved multiple times, and see the value of this program for EVERY move; we wish we’d had it years ago, and we will definitely draw from it again and again in the future.

After a few moves, it’s common to lose the sense of adventure and willingness to make new connections. That tends to lead to loneliness and living in default mode, without real joy. This program is an invitation to live with intention again and find fulfillment and connection wherever you are in your expat journey.

We’re aware the term “expat” isn’t everyone’s preferred term. Do you call more than two places ‘home’? Are you living outside of your passport country? Do you feel you have to decode social and professional rules that feel foreign to you? Are you having to rebuild your personal circle of friends in a new place? Does being abroad put weight on relationships with loved ones? You are our people … we’d love to support you adapt and succeed.

Yes! We start with a full module on “before you go” which will enable you to better prepare yourself. We all wish we’d had this program in hand before we moved. Also, you get  lifetime access to the videos and guidebook, so you can always go back to them once you’ve moved and encounter new phases.

The challenges for “Lovepats” are similar to a traditional expat, with some unique issues. We get it! The program focuses on giving you strategies to help you in challenges outside your own country, to better manage cultural shocks, to navigate differences in relationships with more ease, to incorporate self-care in your routine and figure out how to live a fulfilling life wherever you are. You’ll get the added experience of other women living abroad and facing similar challenges in a safe and supportive space.

It applies a lot more than most people think. Repatriation is the most underestimated relocation and takes as much time to adjust as moving to unfamiliar new culture. Using the program provides you with the right attitude and expectation so you can fully enjoy life back home.

Coaching is a special collaborative process and conversation between you and a trained professional. Good coaching helps you think outside the box, redefine what’s possible and see answers you couldn’t see before. Awesome coaching helps you create what felt impossible before. It’s a supportive, empathic and challenging process at the same time.

Although different coaches use different techniques depending on their background, there’s always a combination of results oriented and personal reflection/discovery involved.

We understand that money is tight for a lot of people this year. That’s one of the reasons we’re offering this program in groups, at a lower rate than we charge for 1-1 work. Having used the program ourselves, we know how dramatically it improves the expat experience. It’s an investment in your future, AND your now. So really, we see the question as, “What’s the cost of NOT joining?” If now isn’t the right time for you, make sure to connect with us through our newsletters, facebook groups and instagram, podcasts, etc.

If you’re already thinking about a refund, this is not the program for you. Each coach will have their own policies, but in general there are no refunds. You will have immediate access and ongoing access to the recorded training portions of the program and the guidebook and bonus materials after the group portion is finished, which is a tremendous value.

Don’t just believe us …
